The Crown XTi 1002, one of our favourite products, is a two channel power amp with an output of 500 watts per channel RMS (4 ohms) and up to 1000 watts bridged (8 ohms).

The rugged rack mountable chassis is cleverly designed with cooling vents in the front providing front to rear forced air flow cooling and the fan speed can be adjusted.

A HiQnet USB connector is provided to allow the connection of a computer for use with System Architect and Band Manager software.

On the front panel, an LED display shows presets and speaker processing such as Input Y, Crossover Frequency, EQ, Delay, Limiting and Stereo / Bridge-Mono. LED lights indicate power on, signal presence, clip and over temperature. A gain control is provided for each channel.

All front panel controls can be locked temporarily by pressing the Prev & Next buttons together to prevent unauthorised use and tampering. For additional protection, the controls can also be locked out via the software, although the gain controls will still operate.
