Infrared Assistive Listening Solutions Infrared (IR) assistive listening systems provide a secure, high-clarity solution for individuals with hearing impairments or those needing enhanced audio in public spaces. Using invisible infrared light, these systems transmit audio from a modulator or radiator directly to wireless receivers (such as stethoset or neckloop styles) worn by the user.

Because infrared signals do not pass through walls or opaque objects, the audio remains confined to the room — ensuring excellent privacy and freedom from radio frequency interference.
