Their Commercial Audio division manufacturers reliable and high performance audio components for use in a wide range of AV systems including Digital matrices, multi-channel amplifiers, and a comprehensive range of loudspeakers.  

Yamaha's history began when its founder, Torakusu Yamaha, repaired a broken reed organ in 1887. Yamaha began producing pianos in 1900 and continue to manufacture some of the world’s most respected musical instruments today. 

Other divisions of Yamaha manufactured motorcycles and sports equipment whilst the musical instrument business continued to evolve.

Yamaha Professional Audio began trading in 1969 and soon developed many groundbreaking products for the studio and live sound markets.

With their own research and development facilities, design lab and factories, all their easy to use products are beautifully designed in Japan, whilst production facilities in Japan and other Asian countries enable Yamaha to apply the strictest quality control.

Probably best known for their digital audio mixers, Yamaha Pro Audio also make some superb amplifiers, processors, loudspeakers and PA systems.
