Welcome to our October newsletter. Autumn is upon us and with the darker evenings, Gyms will be getting busier. With that in mind our focus this month is on Fitness Audio and their superb instructor mics. These really are the ‘gold standard’ and a huge step up from most headworn mics.
We’ve also included the fantastic LD Systems Anny series portable audio units and their monster ICOA PRO series of powered DSP pro cabinets.

Electro-Voice, Dynacord & Bosch PAVA Solutions
'The Perfect Match'
We were delighted to attend the Electro-voice, Dynacord & Bosch PAVA Audio Solutions Day at The Hawthorns, the home of West Bromwich Albion FC, in September to catch up with the latest technology from one of the market leaders in integrated PAVA systems for large scale venues.
A presentation by Arthur Achard on the Electro-Voice range of loudspeakers, including the EVF (front loaded) and EVH (horn loaded) ranges and EVC cabinets and LRC array columns, was followed by a comprehensive talk on the Dynacord electronics range by James Heath Cooper, Field Sales Engineer for Bosch integrated systems. This covered the compact Dynacord U series mixer amplifiers, V seriespower amplifiers and fixed architecture matrix system, and the feature packed high powered IX, IPX amplifiers including the MXE open architecture matrix.

To complete the product demonstrations, Adam Osborne, took us through the Bosch Praesensa PAVA system which features at the heart of these large integrated audio systems. The Praesensa system comprises of System controllers, multi channel power amplifiers, system power supply managers and digital audio interfaces. It is fully EN54 compliant, and provides the backbone to a networked integrated life safety and prosound system.
All in all, it was a very informative day out! We'd love to share some of this information and knowledge with you. Should you need advice or a system design for a large scale PAVA system, please do give us a call on 01663 767888.
