We’ve just passed the autumn equinox and the leaves are starting to turn. As the warmer weather fades to misty, cooler days we have some warm and cosy cheer with some exciting new products. TOA have recently introduced the A-3200DM series of mixer amplifiers, which provide an all in one solution for background music within commercial premises. The A-3200DM features a built in media player which will accept USB, SD/MMC cards and also offers Bluetooth connectivity and a FM tuner.

The unit offers 5 additional inputs (3 mic, 1 mic/aux switchable and 1 aux) and 1 unbalanced 0db priority input. Phantom power is available on Mic 1 input at 21v, and there is also a record output which can be used to feed signals to external devices.

TOA have completely revised their F-Box series cabinet loudspeakers, offering a sleek modern new look and including the addition of a compact subwoofer to enhance the audio performance of a system. 

Available in a range of sizes, including 3.5” full range, 5” two way, 8” two way and an 8” subwoofer. There are also EN54-24 versions of the three cabinet loudspeakers suitable for voice alarm systems, offering IP65 rating for external use. 

The Waves System VP330 is the heart of the Lockdown + system, with simple integration to building networks and existing public address systems. It can also provide scheduled class change bell tones, as well as providing general automated message announcements. This is an excellent tool in helping organisations prepare for the new Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act. also known Martyn's Law.

Pre-recorded audio messages can be triggered from hard wired emergency buttons or from staff mobile phones and computers, to advise of a lockdown situation. This provides a powerful building wide instant access alert, suitable for schools, office blocks. leisure centres and all other public buildings.
