The Cloud Electronics VA2120 power amplifier offers two channels each delivering 120 watts. For use on low impedance audio systems (4 ohms minimum) or 25 / 70 / 100 volt line distributed sound systems.

This mixer is part of the new Cloud Contractor Series of equipment offering excellent value for money.

The amplifier benefits from a limiter in each channel to protect the output stage and connected loudspeakers: this reduces excessive signal levels to ensure that clipping does not occur. Further protection circuitry disconnects the output if the maximum permitted internal temperature is exceeded, or if DC is detected at the output terminals.

All connections and controls are on the rear panel. Each channel has a preset level control and a switchable high-pass filter to mitigate the effect of transformer saturation at low frequencies when driving 25/70/100 V-line systems.

The front panel has an LED display which confirms signal presence, excessive level and amplifier protection activity for each channel.
