JBL Control 426C/T-LS

The JBL Control 426C/T-LS two-way coaxial ceiling loudspeaker features a 6.5” woofer and integrated enclosure that is ideal for installation in most ceiling plenum spaces.

This 'LS' life safety version of the Control 426C/T is UL1480, UL1480A and UL2043 listed. To maintain UL1480 listing, neither the speaker nor grille may be painted.

Compatible with both 70V/100V and low impedance circuits, the 426CT is rated at 110W on the 12 Ohm setting (allows connecting up to 3 speakers in parallel on a 4-ohm rated amplifier channel) and has a multitap 60 Watt transformer for 70/100V line use.

Part of the JBL Series 400 enhanced coverage ceiling speaker range, the Control 426C/T-LS offers wide 110° coverage angle and integrated CRBI technology provides consistent coverage and full, rich sound throughout the listening area. 

A full-face magnetic grille blends seamlessly with modern decors and optional black and square grilles are available.

Mechanical improvements include redesigned terminal covers with top and side cable entry ports and an extremely reliable new dogear design that works with a wide range of ceiling thicknesses.

The Coplanar RBI™, or CRBI™ delivers an especially smooth sound character that remains consistent, clear, and pleasant across a wide coverage area. It reduces on-axis hot spots and off-axis cold spots and improves the listening experience for users as they move throughout a space. This enhanced coverage results in fewer speakers, amplifier channels, and project costs, required to cover a space.

Stock grille is white (RAL9003), round. Black (RAL9004) round & white square available as optional accessories.
Safety tether with tether stake pre-attached to grille.

Termination

 Two removable locking euro-block 2-pin connectors with screw-down terminals for bare wire. Connectors paralleled
for input and loop-thru. Min. wire size 20 AWG (0.5 mm2); Max. wire size 14 AWG (2.5 mm2). Terminal cover hinged
with 2 captive screws for attachment (no loose hardware).
