Cloud Electronics CA2500
The Cloud Electronics CA2500 two-channel audio power amplifier is rated at 2 x 500 watts and offers the ability to drive low impedance loudspeakers or high impedance (100 V-line or 70 V-line) loudspeaker distribution systems directly. Ideal for sound reinforcement applications in the retail, leisure, hospitality, commercial or industrial sectors.
The energy efficient Class D output stages dispense with line output transformers, and consequently offer great savings in weight and size over earlier designs. An automatic, two-stage power-down feature (APD) results in power consumption of less than 2.5 W. A remote standby/wake up function, enables the amplifier to be powered up or placed in to standby mode by a simple external contact closure. The APD feature can be disabled by a rear panel DIP switch.
Safety features of the design include output DC detection, overcurrent protection, thermal monitoring, switch on delay to protect loudspeakers at power-up & variable–speed forced-air cooling.

Please note - unlike the other models in the 'CA' amplifer range, this model does not permit power sharing across the 2 Channels. The total output of 1000W is split equally between Ch1 and Ch2 at 500 watts per channel.
