Delivery Information

Small, low value items may be sent with Royal Mail. If you are not at home when delivery is attempted the postman should leave a card asking you to arrange re-delivery or collection at a convenient time.

Other items will be dispatched by courier for ease of tracking and more predictable delivery timescales. We will endeavor to inform you that your order has been dispatched, at which point you should expect to receive your delivery on the next working day. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday only. A delivery window is not usually available, so if you have any special delivery requirements, please contact us by email or telephone to discuss them before placing your order.

We want you to find our service flexible and helpful. We will endeavour to dispatch your order on the day it is received. However, despite holding a huge amount of stock, it is impossible to hold every permutation of a commercial sound or public address PA system. If you have ordered multiple items and part of your order is out of stock, we would usually delay your despatch until everything can be sent in one consignment. We will let you know how long this is likely to be and if you request a split shipment we will let you know if there will be any additional carrige charge.

If your requirement is urgent, please contact us directly for immediate stock availability information. In the case of long term availability issues, we may be able to suggest alternative products more readily available.

A signature will be required on delivery. If no-one is at home, goods will not be left at another address without prior permission. The consignment will be returned to the local delivery depot awaiting your instructions. You must contact the depot using the contact details on the ‘missed delivery’ card to rearrange delivery or collection from the depot. If you have any problems, please contact us directly and we will help sort things out.

If we have told you to expect a delivery and it doesn’t arrive, please contact us as soon as possible to enable us to investigate its whereabouts. Mistakes and unpredictable delays occasionally happen but are best rectified in a timely fashion!!

The standard delivery charges are based on the total weight of your order. For your information, the weight of each product should be visible in the product description or downloadable datasheet.

Some areas of the UK are more remote, less populated or pose other challenges to timely deliveries by courier, and these areas are therefore subject to a surcharge of £10 + VAT. This will be added to the standard delivery charge once the delivery address details have been added at the checkout stage. The postcode areas subject to the £10 + VAT surcharge are listed below:

Scotland Postcode areas - All AB, HS, IV1- 40, 54 & 63, KW1-14, PA21 - 40, PH15 - 26, PH30 - 41, PH49 - 50

Northern Ireland Postcode areas - All BT

UK Offshore Postcode areas – PO30 - 41, TR21 - 25, ZE1 - 3, IM, JE, GY, PH42 - 44

Overseas delivery can be arranged, but we respectfully ask you to contact us directly to discuss your requirements, before placing an order.

Finally, when buying online it is difficult for the mechanics of a website to consider all possible scenarios regarding carriage and delivery restrictions, so if you feel that the delivery charge seems inappropriate, please contact us so that we can check it ‘manually’. We use several delivery methods in our business and we may be able to arrange one which is more suitable or economical.
